Five years later, that tiny seed had grown into a small tree in our backyard. Then, just three months ago, something magical happened: a delicate blossom appeared for the very first time. We snapped a photo right away—its beauty was brief, but unforgettable.
Today, that fleeting bloom lives on in paint, lovingly captured by my husband, Bahamian artist Johnnie J. Cash. He brought the moment to life on canvas, blending the lush greens of the tamarind tree with the striking, almost surreal beauty of its first flower.
